The Bluff Technique Apprenticeship Program
The Bluff Academy Apprenticeship Program is the most advanced, selective, and prestigious level of education offered by Bluff Academy.
Entrance into this program is by invitation only, and extended exclusively to practitioners who have successfully completed the 6-month AMR Certification Program.
If Certification is the path of mastery, the Apprenticeship is the path of leadership, partnership, and the highest embodiment of the Bluff Technique – Advanced Muscle Reconstruction (AMR). This is where committed practitioners are shaped into elite healers, instructors, and future ambassadors of our mission to free the world from pain.
A 12-Month Journey Into Elite Healing & Teaching Mastery
The Apprenticeship Program is a one-year transformational immersion designed to prepare practitioners for:
Working alongside Jimmy Bluff in our Healing Center and retreats
Assisting in AMR workshops nationally and internationally
Serving clients with the most complex physical conditions

Program Structure & Curriculum
Duration: 12 Months
Begins the day the practitioner accepts their invitation.
100 Practicum Hours
Apprentices complete 100 hours of AMR sessions—focused on developing the technical precision required to safely and effectively treat advanced and complex cases.
Monthly Mentorship With Jimmy Bluff (1 hour)
Each month, apprentices meet privately with Jimmy to expand:
- Their assessment accuracy
- Their body-reading instincts
- Their understanding of severe and unusual cases
- The emotional and spiritual components of AMR
- Their ability to think, feel, and strategize like a master practitioner
- Their readiness to one day teach the Bluff Technique under Jimmy Bluff’s supervision.
Monthly Jungian Coaching With Maria Bluff (1 hour)
To work at the level of transformation AMR is capable of, practitioners must also expand the healer within.
- Archetypes of leadership and service
- Unconscious patterns that impact teaching, healing, or technical confidence
- Emotional resilience and psychological integration
- The embodiment of the healer as mentor, guide, and agent of change
This inner work allows apprentices to step into their highest capacity as teachers, healers, and leaders.
Shadow Teaching: Two AMR Workshops Included
Over the year, apprentices will attend two Bluff Academy Workshops to shadow Jimmy and our instructors. Apprentices learn:
- How to teach AMR with accuracy, clarity, and precision
- How to support students’ hands-on learning
- How to translate Jimmy’s methods into structured teaching sequences
- How to lead, hold space, and communicate as an instructor
This hands-on teaching experience is a cornerstone of the Apprenticeship Program—and the only pathway to becoming an AMR Instructor Assistant.
Four 2-day In-Person Master Intensives (Every ~3 Months)
These advanced, small-group trainings (max 6 participants) take practitioners into the highest level of clinical application of AMR.
Participants will learn to treat extremely complex and high-stakes cases, including:
- Severe scoliosis
- Frozen shoulder
- Sciatica and advanced nerve entrapment
- Complex injuries such as car accidents
- And other rare cases AMR has achieved remarkable results with
Students will also dive deep into the emotional and spiritual components of AMR as an instrument of holistic healing.
This is where apprentices learn what only a few practitioners in the world have ever seen or treated.

Who is eligible for the Apprenticeship Program?

- Completed the 6-month Certification Program

When does the Apprenticeship Program begin?
Your 12-month journey begins the day you accept your invitation.
From that moment, your practicum hours, mentorship, coaching, and scheduling of in-person intensives begin.
What makes the Apprenticeship different from the Certification Program?
The Certification Program develops master practitioners.

- Mentorship toward becoming an AMR Instructor Assistant or future leader
What does the monthly Jungian Coaching with Maria Bluff involve?

What are the in-person intensives like?
There are four in-person intensives, approximately every three months.
These trainings cover rare and highly complex cases where AMR delivers extraordinary results, such as (for example):
- Severe scoliosis
- Frozen shoulder
- Sciatica
- Post-accident trauma
- MS and neurological conditions
- TMJ disorders
- Amputees and adaptive protocols
- Chronic and structural abnormalities cases are typically considered “untreatable” by traditional methods

- How to teach the core strokes with clarity and precision
- Classroom management and hands-on guidance

This is the only route to becoming an AMR Instructor Assistant.

Completion of all program requirements grants the title:
Advanced Certified AMR Practitioner
In addition, apprentices receive:
- 1-year renewed listing in the Practitioner Directory
- Direct client referrals from our overwhelming national and global demand
- Eligibility to work in-house under Jimmy
- Eligibility to assist at retreats (national + international)
- Eligibility for AMR Instructor Assistant roles at workshops

What if I fall behind in practicum hours or coaching?
We support our apprentices closely.
Make-up options and adjusted schedules can be arranged if needed, as long as all requirements are fulfilled within the guidelines of the program.
Does this guarantee teaching or in-house work?
While the Apprenticeship does not guarantee employment, all teaching, in-house, and retreat opportunities are selected exclusively from our Apprentice graduates.
Only those who have completed the Apprenticeship may be considered.

What is the cancellation policy for the Apprenticeship Program?
You may terminate your participation in the Apprenticeship Program at any time. However, due to the significant time, resources, and limited enrollment capacity dedicated to each Apprentice, the following terms apply:
- There are no refunds for any payments made, for any reason.
- If you terminate, you will retain a credit equal to the amount paid (whether paid in full or the total of installments completed up to the date of termination).
- This credit is valid for one year (365 days) from the date of your full payment or first installment.
- Your credit may be applied toward other coaching or training programs offered by the Company.
- To officially terminate your participation, you must contact us at maria@jimmybluff.com.
Please note:
Because of the intensive investment we make in each Apprentice, the extremely limited availability (maximum six participants), and the high demand for these spots, no credits, cancellations, or refunds are permitted for any reason once you are within the active duration of the program.
